I work with adults, teens, and elders who are navigating life transitions, identity, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and perinatal mental health - including pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and the identity shifts that come with parenthood. I also offer psychedelic preparation and integration sessions for people exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness as part of their healing journey.

Hi, I'm Rajvinder
(she/they)

I came to psychotherapy the long way around. As a midwife, I sat with people in some of the most tender, transformative moments of their lives, both when things went just as they’d hoped but also when they didn’t. I moved with them through fear, joy, loss, and the unknown.

Then, I developed chronic pain and was on the other side of the equation as the one needing care and support. I know what it’s like to face something difficult in your body, to grieve a version of yourself and keep going anyway. My experience changed my path, and proved to me how much is possible if we refuse to let difficulty be the whole story.

Bamboo doesn’t grow straight up from the start. For the first few years, almost all of its growth happens underground - quietly building a root system strong enough to support everything that comes next. I think that’s true of people too. Sometimes the most important work is invisible, happening beneath the surface, before anything blooms. That’s the kind of work I’m here for.

I’ll always be honest with you - not harsh, but real. I won’t tell you what you want to hear if something truer and more useful needs to be said. I’ll bring genuine warmth to every session, because kindness isn’t soft, but powerful. I’ll show up in our sessions as a real person - with compassion, curiosity, and an understanding that comes from doing my own hard work.

I believe that healing happens through genuine connection. I work through the trusting relationship we’ll build together, and at a pace that respects your past hurts. I’ll learn how your connections to your culture, society, and past experiences affect who you are, and your sense of self. We’ll explore patterns that show up in your life, relationships with others, and learn what might be holding you back from what you want for yourself. You don't need to have it figured out before we begin.

As a gender-expansive BIPOC therapist, questions of identity, power, and belonging aren't a framework I apply - they're woven into who I am and how I practice. I'll show up in our sessions grounded and direct, with gentleness and an eye for the larger systems shaping your experience. And you are invited to show up however you are right now.

I’d be glad to hear from you.
